Performance Objectives Manager IT Business Systems Aerospace

Initially, the Manager IT Business Systems Aerospace will be expected to become intimately familiar with the current Information Technology projects, budgets, schedules, and ensure application implementation and development is on track.

The Manager Aerospace Information Technology Business Systems will also embrace organizational objectives, becoming keenly aware of staff members skills and experience, establish trust within the organization, assess alignment of the team's abilities with business needs, and begin taking steps to ensure the working environment is consistent with the company culture.

In addition, the Manager IT Business Systems Aerospace must assess the team's performance against these objectives and take any necessary steps to ensure they are well positioned to support continued growth in development efforts.

The performance and development of the business system team will be the responsibility of the Manager IT Business Systems Aerospace, which will require exceptional leadership, dedication and the ability to communicate the shared vision of the organization. Ensure this vision is embraced by the business system team, and promote an optimistic, energizing and fun working environment.

Target Candidate Profile and Requirements

The business systems team plays a significant role at this location as well as other SBUs. The Manager IT Business Systems Aerospace is responsible for ensuring top-notch support for company configured business systems and reports. To be successful requires a team that possesses the skills and experience, and more importantly the mindset and positive attitude to work with functional contributors and management teams across functional and company boundaries. 

  • Must have 10 years plus experience in information technology and must have at least 3 years supervising/managing direct reports.
  • Ideal candidate will have experience with in-house applications development as well as business systems in support of a manufacturing ERP.
  • Technical bachelor degree required as in engineering, computer science, etc. 
  • Knowledge of mid-level manufacturing ERP products is required; working knowledge of EPICOR is preferred. 
  • Must have very strong verbal communication skills and be able to describe your own development as a supervisor and leader.
  • Must be US citizen or US Permanent Resident.
